Role Play Etiquette
Controlling another character without permission is otherwise known as god-modding. Never write in someone’s reaction in your posts. Replying in a neutral way that leaves the other person in control over their character’s own actions and reactions is vital. No god-modding!
Giving your character out of character knowledge is otherwise known as meta-gaming. Your character should not know certain details or intentions about another just by looking at them, or simply because you read their biography so now you (the player) know about them. Remember that your character is not privy to the same information you are. No meta-gaming!
Giving your character abilities, powers, or skills that give them an unseen advantage is otherwise known as power-playing. This is typically when a character that shouldn’t know how to fight suddenly becomes an in-real-life seasoned knight with invincible abilities that ultimately allow them to conquer what should have been the stronger character. No power-playing!
In game actions have in game consequences. If you're a vampire and you're trying to keep it secret - don't openly drink blood around those who would clearly have a problem with it. Most people will take some sort of action to ensure you cease to exist.
You must have permission for any major changes to another character such as maiming, killing, or sexual acts. They should be discussed out of character before hand. If a player isn't comfortable with certain situations, be respectful of that. Sometimes using "fade to black" is acceptable.
Give ample time for those you are role playing with to respond to your post before re-posting.
If you must break character, please use (( text here )) to indicate it's out of character. For example, ((I need to afk.))

Code of Conduct
It all comes down respect. Respect for the player and respect for their boundaries. Just because you don't like a person out of character doesn't justify treating their character in a negative manner. We're here to role play, not fling mud at each other. Please keep the out of character drama, trolling, and spam away from the role play. There's no need to shame or harass a person. There certainly isn't need for racial slurs or hate speech either.

*I reserve the right to refuse to interact with anyone who doesn't adhere to what is listed under RP Etiquette. I do want to stress, however, I am open to interacting and teaching new role-players. I've seen even the most seasoned role-players make mistakes and tend to be understanding to this.
